God touched me and healed me of pain on the left side of my throat which would come on periodically when I was exposed to a draft or cold. One Sunday evenening in the church service, I felt the symptoms of this very subtle pain coming on. The Pastor asked people to stand up for those desiring healing. The anointing was there to heal. I stood up with others. He also asked people in the service to move to those standing to pray for them.
A young lady, Harmony, came and prayed very quietly but with great sincerity. I could feel her spirit interceding. The prayer was very simple. She stayed with me for a while just praying and listening. It was after a few minutes that I began to feel a tremendous heat as if hot oil was poured upon me beginning on my head. My whole being was consumed with this heat. I realized that the Holy Spirit's anointing was upon me in a powerful way. I told Harmony, "I'm burning up" to which she responded, "Me too." We both knew God was ministering His healing and that this was a deep penetration of the Spirit's power and anointing getting all the impurities out of my system. I was also sweating profusely. I knew that God was cleansing my body from whatever was in it causing this on and off sensation in my throat. Simultaneously as I was burning, Pastor Scott said, "Someon is burning up on fire." I stretched both my arms up to confirm his statement. Thank the Lord the pain went away and has not returned!
