The Lord has blessed me with taking a hobby that I absolutely adore, knitting, and turning it into a business. This work requires me to constantly use my hands. In November, I was having a lot of stress on this hand and a lot of difficulties doing my work. I noticed that a large lump had developed at the base of my center finger and it hurt. The more I tried to work, the more pain I had in my hand.
I went to the doctor after an examination and x-ray and he said I had a major calcium deposit and there was nothing I could do. The only option was to go to a hand surgeon who would make an incision and file it down. I didn’t want to have to go that route. The next Sunday at Church, the pastor asked anyone who had this type of infirmity to stand up and receive prayer. I stood up and had several people surround me who prayed over my hand. I went home and I continued to have the same problem with the pain.
I just kept believing and standing firm on the fact that the Lord had healed my hand. I would keep on moving my hand, knitting and praising the Lord that he had healed my hand. Two weeks later I was back in church again and one of the people who had prayed for me asked about my hand. I said, “I’m fine. My hand’s healed.” She could still feel the lump but said it was smaller. I said, “No, my hand is healed. That’s it. It’s healed.” Two days after that, I had no lump on this hand. It is gone. Praise the Lord! It might seem like a little thing, but it teaches me that God’s aware of everything that I need in my life. He’s really a great and merciful God. I spoke to the doctor but I haven’t seen him yet because I have no reason to return.
