"I wanted to share what God has done for me through your ministry. While I was visiting your church with friends on October 22nd, 2006, an invitation was given for those with eye problems to stand. I have Glaucoma, which has no symptoms and can only be measured in a doctor’s office. Several people sitting nearby came and laid hands on me and prayed for me. A few weeks ago, I went for my usual check up. I was amazed to learn that my pressure dropped several points in each eye and there had been some other symptoms that had cleared up as well.
When I told the doctor I had stood up in faith for prayer at church, he smiled and said something like “that’s good” but I could tell he may not have really been convinced that our God heals today. I want to say thank you for your faithfulness in providing the opportunity for us to wait on God for healing. I am believing God for a total healing, especially for my optic nerves."
I was diagnosed with a rare liver disease. One of the prescribed treatments resulted in bilateral cataracts forming in both eyes. I had cataract surgery with lens implants. Within a year, the lens capsule became cloudy again, impeding my vision. Following laser surgery to correct this, I was plagued with “floaters” that appeared as veils moving constantly over my field of vision. The doctor explained that small particles of the lens capsule were caught in the viscous fluid of my eye. The fluid is very thick causing the particles to remain suspended instead of settling to the bottom of the eye, out of the field of vision. I attended a conference where a testimony of healing was shared. Those attending with eye problems were encouraged to stand for prayer. I immediately stood, closed my eyes and placed my hands over them. When I opened my eyes the floaters had disappeared. My vision was restored perfectly. At first I was afraid they would return, so I hesitated telling anyone, including my husband. After several days of clear vision I finally told him the particles have completely vanished. Praise the Lord!
