I attended the Randy Clark Global Awakening conference at the Crossing. During the time Bill Johnson shared about healing, he mentioned people being healed at other conferences of deviated septums along with several other diseases and problems. The first time he mentioned it, I thought “this is nothing compared to major illnesses” and I let it pass me by. However, I had this feeling that if he mentioned it again, which is a long shot at best, I would claim it. Sure enough He did and I claimed it. I never came forward, and no one laid hands on me, he just said “put your fingers on your nose and it is healed”. I decided to do it! Then he said “breathe through each nostril and check it out.” I did. Praise God it worked 100% in each nostril.
It may not seem significant to other but a long time ago, a doctor mentioned to me about getting my nose operated on. I visited a surgeon but just did not like the idea of having surgery. I figured since God seemed to let it happen, I would just have to deal with it! Little did I know that God would use it to be glorified about 50 years later! As I write this, I think of the holy words “my ways are not your ways, nor my thoughts your thoughts”. I had suffered through many upper respiratory infections throughout 50 years and on top of it developed asthma 2 years ago. What a relief it is to know that HE wants to heal and help us even in the non-significant things compared to other major illnesses. All praise to Him who delights in helping His children.
